Çelik Halat ve Tel Sanayii A.S. produces and supplies carbon wire and steel wire ropes in Turkey. The company offers steel wire ropes that are used in construction, marine, fishery, petroleum, and mining industries, as well as in elevators, chairlifts, and cranes; galvanized wires for spring applications and razor wires; and mechanical spring wires that are used primarily in automotive and white good productions, and other spring manufacturing applications. It also provides bead wires for use in tires of automobile and other means of transportation; and prestressed concrete strand that is used in bridge girder production, prefabricated construction elements, ground and mine anchorages, nuclear power stations, and silo and housing constructions. The company exports its products to the United States, Canada, Holland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Italy and other European countries, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and other Turkic Republics, and internationally.
