BOS Business Profile
AirBoss of America Corp., through its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, and sells rubber-based products primarily in North America. The company operates through AirBoss Rubber Compounding and AirBoss Engineered Products segments. It offers custom rubber compounding products, including mixed rubber for use in mining, transportation, industrial rubber, military, automotive, conveyor belting, and other products; calandered, extruded, and molded rubber products used in the manufacture of industrial products and recreational vehicles; and injection mold defense products. The company also develops and sells chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear protective rubber wear, such as gloves, overshoes, and gas masks for military and first response applications, as well as fire boot for firefighters. In addition, it provides anti-vibration solutions for use in vibration damping, spring improvement, noise prevention, shock absorption, and durability enhancement in the automotive market; and designs, engineers, and manufactures rubber and synthetic rubber products, such as bushings, dampers, boots, and isolators. The company was formerly known as IATCO Industries Inc. and changed its name to AirBoss of America Corp. in April 1994. AirBoss of America Corp. was founded in 1989 and is based in Newmarket, Canada.
