SCT Business Profile
Scott Technology Limited, together with its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, sells, and services automated production and process machinery. It operates in two segments, Standard Equipment and Automated Equipment. The company offers metal processing and parts assembly equipment for the domestic/home appliance industry, including for cooking, refrigeration, laundry, and hot water cylinder products; and lamb and beef processing machinery for the meat processing industry, as well as automated solutions for the dairy industry. It also provides industrial automation products, such as steel framing manufacturing lines, bracket assemblies for overhead doors, cabinet robotic welding systems for gaming machines, handling equipment for smelters, and water heater fabrication systems; and sample preparation equipment, and automated and mechanized laboratory systems, including crushers, pulverizers, sample dividers, and reference materials for mines and metals industries. In addition, the company offers high temperature superconductor (HTS) systems, including nuclear magnetic resonance systems, electromagnets, and HTS motor coils for commercial and research applications under the HTS-110 brand name. Further, it provides waterjet cutting and fabrication services; and enclosed belt conveying systems for a range of industries that include mining, manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, and port loading facilities. The company sells its products in New Zealand, North America, South America, Australia, the Pacific Islands, Asia, Russia and former states, Africa, the Middle East, and rest of Europe. Scott Technology Limited was founded in 1913 and is headquartered in Dunedin, New Zealand.
