WEBK Business Profile
Wellesley Bancorp, Inc. is a holding company for Wellesley Bank (the Bank). The Company operates as a community-oriented financial institution offering traditional financial services to consumers and businesses in its primary market area. The Company attracts deposits from the general public and use those funds to originate primarily residential mortgage loans, commercial real estate loans and construction loans, and, to a lesser extent, commercial business loans, home equity lines of credit and other consumer loans. It conducts its lending and deposit activities primarily with individuals and small businesses in its primary market area. The Company conducts its operations from its offices and two full-service branch offices located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, a community within the greater Boston metropolitan area. On January 25, 2012, the Bank became the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
