Further, it is involved in the private equity services comprising equity investments, merger and acquisition advisory, and financial and capital markets engineering. As of December 31, 2012, it operated a network of 2,074 branches in France, 3 foreign branches, 34 foreign representative offices, and 29 foreign private banking offices. The company was founded in 1859 and is headquartered in Paris, France. Crédit Industriel et Commercial operates as a subsidiary of Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel S.A.
